BasadiPele, a Sotho name meaning, “women first” is a women-led business operating as an Non-Profit Company. The business was founded in August 2016, and officially registered with the Companies and Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC) in March 2017, by Palesa Kubu and 2 other Directors occupying different portfolios. Women often face discrimination and persistent gender inequalities, with some women experiencing multiple discrimination and exclusion because of factors such as ethnicity or caste.

The company is BBB-EE Level 1 Contributor and Accredited with MICTSeta.

TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT

BasadiPele Skills Development Program is designed for the socio-economic development of women from vulnerable communities. The Program embodies with the approach to eradicate poverty among most neglected segment of the society by providing them with employable skills, facilitation for home based income generating activities and developing market linkages.
